What I Love most about teaching? I love changing the lives of my students. I love seeing them have a new hobby and I’m so proud of them when they learn something new. I get just as excited as they do!
Who I admire the most and why?
One thing most people don’t know about me: I’m actually a complete dork. I’m obsessed with Harry Potter, I love to read and I’m really good at math.
Hobbies: – I love listening to music, watching movies on rainy days, camping without electricity and sleeping under the stars, boating with my Dad, riding horses, laying out by the pool, shopping by myself, and reading for hours.
One of the coolest things I’ve done: The coolest thing I’ve ever done is to work for the Mouse himself, Mr. Mickey Mouse that is, down in Orlando, FL in Walt Disney World.
More Facts: Kyla Rae has been training and competing in ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical for 17 years.
During this time, she placed in the finals at national competitions hosted by Showstoppers, Hall of Fame and Tremaine.
She has also been seen in Indianapolis Civic Theater performances of 42nd Street, Aida, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She has most recently performed in the Entertainment and Character Performing Department of Walt Disney World.
Kyla Rae has now joined Fred Astaire and looks forward to teaching and competing with her new students!
